I wanted to paint an abstract, intuitive painting in my mountain style with my favourite colour palette of deep dark Payne’s grey (blue), mixed with light pinks and greens and blues, and neutrals. I tend to be a “reliable “ person in terms of my nature and I also love the play on words by titling this piece “Reliable in Nature”. Mother nature is not always reliable, though is she?
